My profession is a designer | Choice of profession. how to choose the right profession

1. What is the name of your profession (position)? My profession is called a computer graphics specialist, otherwise a designer. 2. What is your job and what are your responsibilities? My job is to correct digital photos, retouch and restore old photos, make various postcards and photo montages. 3. What education is required to get your position? I have completed individual courses in computer graphics and have read many books on the subject. 4. Describe your working day. The working day starts at 9 o'clock. In the morning, couriers come, bringing work from various points where there is no designer. It is very important to distribute the work correctly. Sort urgent orders, and those that are for tomorrow or later. Later, receptionists-photoconsultants from our point come. By lunchtime, there is a lot of work and it is necessary to include high-speed qualities. For this, many automatic processes are created. In Photoshop they are called actions. Also, my duties include photographing people for documents (passport, visa, etc.). By evening, there is less work, there is an opportunity to surf the Internet for a while or play a game. 5. How comfortable are your working conditions (all day outside, or in the office with a cup of coffee)? The whole working day is spent in a warm room, the only negative is the smell of photochemistry, which is filled into the printing and processing machine. Stretching doesn't always help. 6. What do you dislike most about your job? What I love most about my job is the positive feedback from my clients. There are regulars who reward my work. 7. What do you dislike most about your job? Most of all, I don’t like inadequate clients in my work, who like to fray their nerves, without technically understanding the issue, they impose their rightness. 8. If it's not a secret, what is your salary level (is it enough to write whether you are satisfied or not)? I am satisfied with the level of salary and the fact that the salary is piecework, it all depends on me. As a result, a decent amount accumulates in a month. 9. Describe your team, what kind of people work with you? The team is always different, it changes very often, since the receptionists have a small salary, and more nerves are needed. Only the most persistent, truly in love with photography remain. 10. What human qualities do you think are most important in your business? One of the most important criteria in my profession is perseverance. After the holidays, such as the New Year, on March 8, there is a lot of work and not everyone can sit out 10-12 hours of continuous work at the monitor. And not unimportant factor is that this work should be liked. 11. Work gives me additional opportunities (everything that work gives you except money, from self-expression and communication with interesting people to the opportunity to visit different countries) a lot of beautiful photos. I visited, as they say, in all corners of our earthgetting up from your own chair. Now, if I go somewhere in real life, there will be plenty to choose from. 12. Do you have the opportunity to evaluate your work on a five-point scale, what grade would you give? I would rate my work at 5. I feel confident in my place. 13. Why did you choose this job? I chose my job because since childhood I love photography in all its manifestations. And now, with the development of digital photography, it has become much more interesting and convenient. 14. What do you think we did not include in the plan and what else would you like to share with us? I would also ask such a question - do you see the prospect of your own growth and what it may consist of and I would answer like this. Thanks to my work, I opened an additional small business. 0
