Profession manager-consultant | Choice of profession. how to choose the right profession

1. What is the name of your profession (position)? The name of the profession is trite manager consultant, at least that's how it is written in the work book. 2. What is your job and what are your responsibilities? My main duties are advising clients on the choice of aquariums and equipment for them. Advice on hydrobionts, and to put it simply, fish and other aquarium animals, is provided by other specialists, while I set the general concept of the aquarium (type, design, population). You also have to deal with the organization of delivery and installation. 3. What education is required to get your position? There are no special education requirements, for example, I have an engineering education with a specialty related to cars. More important is the ability to communicate with people, the ability to lead a person to a conscious choice and, of course, payment. It is to help make a purchase, and not to "sell". 4. Describe your working day. The working day goes by without being stressful. It starts with turning on the lighting in the aquariums and inspecting them, because the exhibition samples should look five plus, if necessary, something is getting better. Well, the rest of the time is devoted to waiting for customers, answering phone calls, solving current and organizational issues. Part of the time is spent on communication in a specialized forum, as you might guess, dedicated to aquariums. 5. How comfortable are your working conditions (all day outside, or in the office with a cup of coffee)? Working conditions are quite comfortable. There is a desktop with a computer, a kettle, which makes it possible to drink tea or coffee, in the showroom there is a sofa where you can comfortably sit in your free time, and the general surrounding atmosphere is pleasant. 6. What do you like most about your job? Actually, what I like about my job is that I get money for doing what I love, or rather, the fact that the work is connected with aquarism, namely aquarism has always been my hobby. 7. What do you dislike most about your job? If I saw any negative aspects in my work, I probably would not work here. 8. If it's not a secret, what is your salary level (is it enough to write whether you are satisfied or not)? The salary, despite the seeming frivolity of the occupation, is at the salary level in a good car dealership selling foreign cars. Still, a fully equipped marine aquarium at a cost easily exceeds the cost of a good foreign car. 9. Describe your team, what kind of people work with you? The team is wonderful, most of them have been working in the pet business for a long time, and here, even among competitors, friendly relations are accepted, and any conflicts are excluded in the team, especially since most working people are united by one hobby, aquarism. 10. What human qualities do you think are most important in your business? I consider the most important quality in my work to be love for animals and the ability to communicate with people, the ability to sell is also important, but without the first it is useless, because people seeing the enthusiasmpeople trust him more with their work. 11. Work gives me additional opportunities (everything that work gives you except money, from self-expression and communication with interesting people to the opportunity to visit different countries). In addition to income, my work gives me the joy of communicating with people, the feeling of being “needed”, necessary, so to speak. 12. Do you have the opportunity to evaluate your work on a five-point scale, what grade would you give? I can only rate my work at 5 stars. 13. My aspiration is more like a dream, but if there is a goal, then it is for it that you should strive, namely, there is a desire to open your own aquarium salon. 0
