Profession programmer | Choice of profession. how to choose the right profession

1. What is the name of your profession (position)? I am a system programmer by profession. 2. What is your job and what are your responsibilities? My job is to develop programs, as well as to implement their support (writing additions to already implemented projects and fixing bugs identified during testing). Successfully complete assigned tasks on time. 3. What education is required to get your position? Have a higher education, but the main thing is not a crust, but real knowledge and also have work experience. Having at least ten crusts without knowledge and work experience, it is very difficult to find a job. 4. Describe your working day. My working day starts from the moment I wake up and arrive at work, regardless of the time. Well, then from reading bash.org.ru, drinking a cup of coffee and smoking a cigarette. Well, then I sit down at the computer and the whole day, though, with smoke breaks and a break in order to be distracted and think. And the end of the working day is 8 hours after coming to work. It's good to have a free work schedule. 5. How comfortable are your working conditions (all day outside, or in the office with a cup of coffee)? All day long, work takes place in the office in front of a computer with a lot of coffee and you can even smoke a cigarette at the workplace. Only in winter we go out into the corridor, since we recently moved to a new office and did not have time to install an air conditioner with air filtration, and with an open window you can’t sit much in a very smoky room either. Meals are paid by the customer. 6. What do you like most about your job? In my profession, what I like most is to create programs with my own hands, especially creating them from scratch. But at work, you often need to fix other people's mistakes, which means dealing with someone else's code and it takes a lot of time to do it. And also the Internet is always at hand and you can always chat with friends or just surf the Internet. So the job of a programmer is just made for me. 7. What do you dislike most about your job? The bad thing is that I spend a lot of time in front of the computer and this can further affect my vision, and I also almost never go out in the fresh air. And all day long at work and for the family there is simply not enough time, even on weekends you take the task home because you don’t have time to finish it on time. 8. If it's not a secret, what is your salary level (is it enough to write whether you are satisfied or not)? Satisfied but this is not the limit, I would like more. 9. Describe your team, what kind of people work with you? Very serious people, they love their work and help in difficult times when something doesn’t work out and you are stuck in a dead end. Friday is a holiday for the whole team, the end of the working week, sometimes we can even drink expensive cognac. 10. What human qualities, in your opinion, are most important in your business? Perseverance, patience and of course the desire to think logically. For as they say, learning any programming language is not difficult, but in order to understand how it works and delve into its logictake many years. 11. Work gives me additional opportunities (here is everything that work gives you except money, from self-expression and communication with interesting people to the opportunity to visit different countries). In principle, a programmer to a greater extent is not a profession, but a way of life. 12. Do you have the opportunity to evaluate your work on a five-point scale, what grade would you give? I'll give you a four plus. 13. Why did you choose this job? It all started from childhood with the first computer, then it was just curious, but gradually it grew into a way of life. I wanted to know what programming is and how programs are created, and when I went to study for this specialty, I immediately decided that I would become a programmer, because I like it. 14. What do you think we did not include in the plan, and what else would you like to share with us? It would be possible to include the item “Council for this specialty”. If you yourself decide to create a program, then do not be too lazy to complete it, everything in life can come in handy. The better you know the programming language, the easier it will be for you at work. 0
