Advertising agent is my profession | Choice of profession. how to choose the right profession

1. What is the name of your profession (position)? My profession is called simply - an advertising agent. 2. What is your job and what are your responsibilities? In fact, an advertising agent is practically no different from an advertising manager. The only difference is that the manager is looking for clients without leaving the office, and the agent travels to all sorts of meetings, even those to which he has not yet been invited. 3. What education is required to get your position? I have a marketing background. But in principle, in order to work as an advertising agent, a relatively small amount of marketing knowledge, deep knowledge of people's psychology, the ability to speak and convince are enough. 4. Describe your working day. In the morning I come to the office, pick up the materials with which I will work during the day, and go to meetings. 5. How comfortable are your working conditions (all day outside, or in the office with a cup of coffee)? Working conditions can be called average. In those days when I prepare reports on the work performed, the conditions are wonderful. I sit in the office, at the computer, collect information, put it into tablets and print it out. These days I drink coffee, communicate with colleagues, share or learn from experience. And on those days when I go to meetings (there are 3 times more such days), the working conditions are not the best. Driving around the city, no matter what the weather, can sometimes be unpleasant. There is no longer any coffee or a table with a computer. 6. What do you like most about your job? What I like most about my business is that during the day you can communicate with a huge number of different people. 7. What do you dislike most about your job? And what I don’t like is the constant movement, and the fact that you need to convince people that they really need my product. Although in reality this is not always the case. 8. If it's not a secret, what is your salary level (is it enough to write whether you are satisfied or not)? The salary is not high. I would like more. 9. Describe your team, what kind of people work with you? I have wonderful people working with me. Everyone is sociable, everyone has a hung tongue, everyone has something to talk about. 10. What human qualities do you think are most important in your business? Knowledge of psychology, politeness and the ability to convince - these are the qualities without which an advertising agent can not even start work - it still won't work. 11. Work gives me additional opportunities (here is everything that work gives you except money, from self-expression and communication with interesting people to the opportunity to visit different countries). In addition to money from work, I get the opportunity to contact a huge number of people. And sometimes this process is interesting, and sometimes useful for personal purposes too. 12. Do you have the opportunity to evaluate your work on a five-point scale, what grade would you give? Work on a solid four. If it were possible to move to one huge business center and spend the whole day there, it would be 5. And since you need to constantly move around the city, then rather 4. 13. Why did you choose this job? Because it's interesting. At such a job, not a full-time job is possible, which is convenient. 14. What do you think we did not include in the plan and what else would you like to share with us? In my opinion, the plan indicates everything necessary for a person to get acquainted with the type of work he needs. 0
