Profession marketer - knows what and when customers want | Choice of profession. how to choose the right profession

1. What is the name of your profession (position)? My job title is Marketing. I am engaged in the study of markets in which the products of my enterprise can be sold. 2. What is your job and what are your responsibilities? My responsibilities include identifying consumer preferences regarding product characteristics, its shape, design, packaging, as well as the size of demand and potential markets. 3. What education is required to get your position? I received a higher education, but it does not correspond to the position. I have a degree in finance. It was the diploma that managed to get a job, although the main skills had to be learned in the process of work - at seminars, lectures, by studying the relevant literature. 4. Describe your working day. I come to work at half past eight. The morning begins with e-mail, faxes, which came on the machine in the interval between my absence. Then the management communicates the tasks that need to be solved today. Usually, by lunchtime, urgent matters depart and I go on a free voyage - I visit advertising agencies, review prices for competitors' products, and purchase prototypes. 5. How comfortable are your working conditions (all day outside, or in the office with a cup of coffee)? My work is connected with frequent movements around the city. Sometimes I spend the whole day in the office, and there are days when my colleagues do not see me for several days - business trips to other cities are not uncommon. The office is comfortable, there are all amenities, coffee and tea at the expense of management. We dine on the spot - with what we grabbed from home or purchased at the supermarket. 6. What do you like most about your job? It gives me pleasure to communicate with people - who have achieved a certain success in life and know how to make money from their own talents. I like to analyze the results of sociological surveys and organize their conduct. 7. What do you dislike most about your job? The fact that you have to walk a lot - to markets, shops, supermarkets, climb stairs in buildings with non-working elevators. In supermarkets, security does not allow you to write down prices - you have to invent all sorts of tricks. It happens that they already recognize you in person and go everywhere on your heels. It's annoying. 8. If it's not a secret, what is your salary level (is it enough to write whether you are satisfied or not)? The salary is slightly below the average for the city. I can afford to fly to Egypt in the summer, but for this I have to save up a whole year. 9. Describe your team, what kind of people work with you? The team is wonderful. They are all girls - I am the only representative of the stronger sex in the office. We have become closer than just employees, sharing household chores, discussing the failures of children at school. 10. What human qualities do you think are most important in your business? Without the ability to communicate with people, to understand them, to be able to listen and convince in my work is indispensable. 11. Work gives me additional opportunities (here is all thatgives you a job other than money, from self-expression and communication with interesting people to the opportunity to visit different countries). Thanks to a flexible schedule, I can surf the Internet for a while, take a break in a city park or cafe, visit other cities. It was only here that I realized that each city has its own inner charm, unique to it. This is manifested in relation to residents, streets, transport. 12. Do you have the opportunity to evaluate your work on a five-point scale, what grade would you give? Of course, five. I'm here to relax, not work. 13. Why did you choose this job? Because it gives me the opportunity to develop myself and develop the enterprise where I work. 14. What do you think we did not include in the plan and what else would you like to share with us? The fact that in my company there is no separation of the marketing and sales department. Employees have to perform both functions. On the one hand, this is good - a person becomes a generalist. On the other hand, it disperses efforts, does not allow to concentrate on one thing. 0
