1. What is the name of your profession (position)? I work as an account manager in a regular commercial firm. 2. What is your job and what are your responsibilities? Basically, the work consists in communicating with organizations - consumers of our services: answering questions, providing detailed information about services, reporting on special promotions, compiling and sending commercial offers with their subsequent discussion with clients. As a rule, communication takes place by phone and e-mail. Occasionally I take part in meetings on the territory of clients, even less often they come to us. 3. What education is required to get your position? Our company tries to select people with higher technical education for this position, although there are exceptions. 4. Describe your working day. A typical business day begins with checking email and responding to emails that have just arrived or have been delayed. Then I call clients, explain to them those points that are difficult to express in writing, answer questions, coordinate our further actions. I answer incoming phone calls throughout the day. In my free time from direct communication with clients, I work with documents: I draw up commercial offers, adjust contracts, issue invoices. 5. How comfortable are your working conditions (all day outside, or in the office with a cup of coffee)? Working conditions, in general, are quite comfortable: a modern office, there is a room where you can drink tea and have a snack. On the other hand, sedentary work is, of course, unhealthy: your back starts to hurt, your eyes get tired from the monitor, your eyesight goes down. 6. What do you like most about your job? What I love most about my job is the sense of accomplishment that comes from achieving certain goals and that our services help people in their work. 7. What do you dislike most about your job? What I dislike most is the lack of prospects in this particular organization. 8. If it's not a secret, what is your salary level (is it enough to write whether you are satisfied or not)? The salary level is satisfactory so far, but I can find a better paying job. 9. Describe your team, what kind of people work with you? I was lucky with the team: all friendly and adequate people. Someone is completely immersed in the work process, violently rejoices at the success of the company and is hard pressed by the failures. Some refer to official duties with coolness, but they cannot be reproached for dishonesty. The rest just calmly and methodically do their job. 10. What human qualities do you think are most important in your business? In my work, the ability and desire to achieve goals, the ability to communicate with people, and a creative approach to business are important. 11. Work gives me additional opportunities (everything that work gives you except money, from self-expression and communication with interesting people to the opportunity to visit different countries). In my work, I value the opportunity to express myself.me, acquiring skills that are useful to me. For example, I learn to achieve my goals in sometimes quite tough negotiations, while maintaining a good relationship with the other side. 12. Do you have the opportunity to evaluate your work on a five-point scale, what grade would you give? On a five-point scale, I rate this work a four. In the future, if some prospects for development within the company do not suddenly appear, the assessment will gradually decrease. 13. Why did you choose this job? The work was chosen because I like this type of activity, it has an element of creativity, and communication with people, and pauses when you can take a break from this communication :-). I also do not like strict control and step-by-step instructions from the management - this is not the case in our organization. 14. What do you think we did not include in the plan and what else would you like to share with us? Not included, for example, is the question of the demand for people with similar work experience in the labor market. But I'll talk about that next time
