The work in my profession is to prepare patients for x-rays and perform x-rays using special modern devices. First of all, I record the patient's data in a journal. Different types of images require different preparatory work. In any case, I first put protective equipment on the patient to protect vital organs from radiation. After taking the x-ray, I also have to develop the resulting films. In our hospital, a special developing machine is installed for this. 3. What education is required to get your position? To work in this profession, I graduated from a medical school and was trained in specialized courses of X-ray laboratory technicians. 4. Describe your working day. My working day starts at 8:00 am and lasts until 2:00 pm. The number of x-rays is usually always different. Therefore, every day can be loaded differently. But in any case, I close the X-ray room at 14:00. 5. How comfortable are your working conditions (all day outside, or in the office with a cup of coffee)? Our working conditions are very comfortable. As a rule, the room of the X-ray machine from my workplace (office) is separated and protected. I have a computer installed to record the results and keep statistics. 6. What do you like most about your job? Most of all in my profession I like the mode of work. The schedule of 5 days a week for 6 hours is very convenient for me. 7. What do you dislike most about your job? The only drawback here can only be called that there is a small risk of receiving an excess dose of radiation. But at the same time, I always carry a special device with me that constantly determines the radiation dose. There are no such excesses in our modern X-ray room. 8.
