1. What is the name of your profession (position)? My profession is called X-ray laboratory technician. 2. What is your job and what are your responsibilities? The work in my profession is to prepare patients for x-rays and perform x-rays using special modern devices. First of all, I record the patient's data in a journal. Different types of images require different preparatory work. In any case, I first put protective equipment on the patient to protect vital organs from radiation. After taking the x-ray, I also have to develop the resulting films. In our hospital, a special developing machine is installed for this. 3. What education is required to get your position? To work in this profession, I graduated from a medical school and was trained in specialized courses of X-ray laboratory technicians. 4. Describe your working day. My working day starts at 8:00 am and lasts until 2:00 pm. The number of x-rays is usually always different. Therefore, every day can be loaded differently. But in any case, I close the X-ray room at 14:00. 5. How comfortable are your working conditions (all day outside, or in the office with a cup of coffee)? Our working conditions are very comfortable. As a rule, the room of the X-ray machine from my workplace (office) is separated and protected. I have a computer installed to record the results and keep statistics. 6. What do you like most about your job? Most of all in my profession I like the mode of work. The schedule of 5 days a week for 6 hours is very convenient for me. 7. What do you dislike most about your job? The only drawback here can only be called that there is a small risk of receiving an excess dose of radiation. But at the same time, I always carry a special device with me that constantly determines the radiation dose. There are no such excesses in our modern X-ray room. 8. If it's not a secret, what is your salary level (is it enough to write whether you are satisfied or not)? The average level of my salary is 6-7 thousand rubles per month. 9. Describe your team, what kind of people work with you? Our team is quite diverse in terms of age, but nevertheless quite friendly. There are also young specialists here who came to gain experience and experience in medicine, but there are also already more experienced workers who share their experience with the young. 10. What human qualities, in your opinion, are most important in your business? For my profession, an important human quality is composure and not being afraid of human injuries. Often people are brought to us, whom it is not entirely pleasant to look at for an ordinary person. 11. Work gives me additional opportunities (everything that work gives you except money, from self-expression and communication with interesting people to the opportunity to visit different countries).
