1. What is the name of your profession (position)? My job title is "Accounting Specialist", I do management accounting in a company that distributes heating and water supply equipment. 2. What is your job and what are your responsibilities? Because the company is large and the accounting department consists of 7 people, we have a small division of labor so that we can control each other. Thus, I am involved in many accounting processes. But my main duties are documentary support for the internal movement of goods between warehouses and materially responsible persons, inventory of goods in warehouses and with materially responsible persons, inventory of fixed assets by materially responsible persons and the transfer of fixed assets between them. I also form acts of received services from suppliers and advance reports of accountable persons. 3. What education is required to get your position? This position requires a university degree in economics. I have an honors degree in accounting and auditing. 4. Describe your working day. I come to work an hour earlier than all my employees to get bank statements, enter them into the database and generate several reports based on them that my employees need to start the working day. Then, during the day, I deal with different tasks, every day I plan in a new way, because the work is very dependent on the calendar: at the beginning and end of the month, the schedule is very busy, in the middle of the month you can do things that are not urgent. The season is also of great importance, in summer there is much more work than in winter. Therefore, I do the main pressure on inventory and reconciliations when there is snow outside the window and builders are in no hurry to buy goods from us. 5. How comfortable are your working conditions (all day outside, or in the office with a cup of coffee)? My working conditions are very comfortable, I work in an office that is located in a good area, well equipped with furniture and appliances, there are hygiene rooms and a dining room with refrigerators and microwave ovens. 6. What do you like most about your job? It doesn't get boring. There is always something to think about and there is room for creativity. 7. What do you dislike most about your job? Instead of creating my own, I record other people's results. It's depressing. 8. If it's not a secret, what is your salary level (is it enough to write whether you are satisfied or not)? I have an average salary. 9. Describe your team, what kind of people work with you? My team is one of the main reasons why I don't change jobs. I have an excellent leader, a professional of the highest class, she perfectly knows the character and abilities of her subordinates and masterfully distributes duties and tasks between us. My team was selected by experienced psychologists from the personnel department, from the very first working day it seemed to me that I had been working with them all my life. 10. What human qualities do you think are most important in your business? The most important thing in my business is to be stress-resistant, terpimo refers to other people's mistakes, to be quick, quick-witted and sociable. Very important - a good sense of humor. 11. Work gives me additional opportunities (everything that work gives you except money, from self-expression and communication with interesting people to the opportunity to visit different countries). My work gives me the opportunity to communicate with wonderful people, both at work and at corporate parties. 12. After the institute, I wanted to try to work in my specialty, to find out what I stand not in theory, but in real accounting. 14. What are the opportunities for your career development? Constant transformations and rotations provide an opportunity to express themselves and qualify for promotion. But I do not see such a goal for myself today. 15. What do you think we did not include in the plan and what else would you like to share with us? Because my position involves only internal accounting at the enterprise, I practically do not work with document management (there are document specialists for this) and with reporting to state bodies (the chief accountant is engaged in this), my skills and abilities, experience are extremely valuable in this particular enterprise, but in any otherwise, they are completely useless. This is a shortcoming of my work - there are no universal standards and requirements in management accounting. 0
