1. What is the name of your profession (position)? My job title is Chinese translator. 2. What is your job and what are your responsibilities? The work consists primarily in the translation of documents and telephone conversations. Also, additional responsibilities sometimes include the conclusion of contracts with clients. Short trips around the city are also possible. 3. What education is required to get your position? In order to work in this position, I needed knowledge of the language at the level of a specialized linguistic university. 4. Describe your working day. The working day begins with the arrival at the office at 10:00. Further, depending on the agenda, I either stay in the office, participating in negotiations between the authorities and clients, or go to the enterprise with a manager or a technical specialist. The working day ends, as a rule, in the office at 18:00. 5. How comfortable are your working conditions (all day outside, or in the office with a cup of coffee)? Working conditions are quite comfortable, as trips around the city are minimal and rare. 6. What do you like most about your job? I like promising career growth, stable salary and friendly team. 7. What do you dislike most about your job? I do not like it when there are misunderstandings with the translation. I also do not like to stay late at work due to unforeseen circumstances. 8. If it's not a secret, what is your salary level (is it enough to write whether you are satisfied or not)? The level of salary satisfies, but you always want to strive for more =) 9. Describe your team, what kind of people work with you? Since the company in which I work as a translator is Chinese, it is mainly the Chinese who work with me. Russians are our only managers. 10. What human qualities do you think are most important in your business? Definitely rigor and discipline. 11. Work gives me additional opportunities (everything that work gives you except money, from self-expression and communication with interesting people to the opportunity to visit different countries). First of all, the work of an interpreter is communication with people, which I really appreciate. This is interesting. 14.
