Profession seller of food products in a supermarket. | Choice of profession. how to choose the right profession

1. What is the name of your profession (position)? My position is a grocery seller in a large supermarket. 2. What is your job and what are your responsibilities? My work consists of several stages. I either work on the trading floor - I monitor the availability of goods on the shelves, put things in order there, if necessary, I bring and lay out the missing goods. Or I work at the checkout as a seller - cashier. Sometimes I help in the food warehouse to sort or sort the goods of my group. Since I have been working in this position for quite a long time and I know my job well, I quite often teach girls who come to our supermarket for an internship - I teach them to understand the product, help to study the assortment or teach how to work with a cash register. 3. What education is required to get your position? It is not necessary for my work, but it is desirable to have a special education, for example, a trade technical school. This will help in the future to move up the career ladder and, possibly, become a senior salesman or merchandiser, and in case of good work, a manager. 4. Describe your working day. My working day consists of two parts: I spend half of it directly working with the goods, and the second half I release goods to customers at the checkout. 5. How comfortable are your working conditions (all day outside, or in the office with a cup of coffee)? During the working day, there are several breaks when you can eat, drink a cup of coffee, relax in a very comfortable lounge and chat with colleagues. 6. What do you like most about your job? I love my job. I like to neatly and beautifully lay out the goods on the shelves of the store, so that it is easy and convenient for customers to choose the products they need. It is also very pleasant when sitting at the checkout to hear the gratitude of customers about the good and high-quality goods in our supermarket, about the order in the store, about the sympathetic and attentive staff. And we try to match it. Of course, you can’t call our work easy, and in the evening you sometimes fall down from fatigue, but in the morning you wake up and again you are happy to go to your already native store. 7. What do you dislike most about your job? The disadvantage of our work is communication with some inadequate buyers, from whom you can hear not only rudeness, but sometimes outright rudeness. But, fortunately, they are a minority. 8. If it's not a secret, what is your salary level (is it enough to write whether you are satisfied or not)? I am satisfied with my salary, we often receive bonuses for good work. 9. Describe your team, what kind of people work with you? We have a large and friendly team, always ready to help or give advice, if necessary, to help out in difficult times. 10. What human qualities do you think are most important in your business? In my work, the main thing is patience and accuracy, as well as in any other. It is also important to be polite and attentive to customers. Sometimes a person cannot find the righthim a product or does not know what to choose. We need to come to the rescue and give advice so that the buyer is satisfied and returns to our store again. 11. Work gives me additional opportunities (everything that work gives you except money, from self-expression and communication with interesting people to the opportunity to visit different countries). My work schedule is 2 days I work, 2 days at home and I have the opportunity to study at the evening department of full-time - part-time at the university. 12. Do you have the opportunity to evaluate your work on a five-point scale, what grade would you give? I am satisfied with my work and rate it 5 stars. 13. Why did you choose this job? I wanted to be a salesperson since childhood. 14. What do you think we did not include in the plan and what else would you like to share with us? I will get a higher education and someday I will definitely become a store manager. 0
