Entrepreneur is also a profession | Choice of profession. how to choose the right profession

1. What is the name of your profession (position)? My profession is called quite simply - an entrepreneur. Let's call the job so - a specialist in the repair of equipment. And it consists in the fact that I provide services for the repair and maintenance of electric and gasoline tools. 2. What is your job and what are your responsibilities? And it consists in the fact that I provide services for the repair and maintenance of electric and gasoline tools. Not only repair, but also preventive maintenance, as the tool is expensive and requires not only careful attitude, but also proper and timely maintenance using special materials, spare parts and specialized repair tools. 3. What education is required to get your position? Here one diploma will not work. Knowledge is quite specific and can only be obtained from the manufacturer. That is a kind of "state secret" that is disclosed only to authorized persons. But education should also not be neglected (it is available - higher). There are also certificates from tool manufacturers that they allow me to make repairs to the equipment and agree with my conclusions regarding the malfunctions that occur. 4. Describe your working day. At work, I am my own boss. But I have a few other people working. Therefore, the working day is subject to a strict schedule. Everything is like in the most ordinary enterprise - the beginning of work, a lunch break, a technical break (since the work is connected with a computer). As for my personal working time, I have to infringe on myself a little in my free time, and there are not always days off. But that's the nature of the job. Very often you have to go to construction sites, communicate with the heads of construction companies, and simply with workers. Sometimes I train the staff in the correct operation of tools, perform commissioning work together with the staff who will continue to operate the equipment. In the evening, you will have to work with a computer - analysis of breakdowns, ordering parts, etc. 5. How comfortable are your working conditions (all day outside, or in the office with a cup of coffee)? The photo shows only the place where the equipment is being inspected and repaired. For petrol tools there is a separate room for repair and testing. As for the rest - a microwave, a kettle, a refrigerator, a sofa, a TV - everything is there. 6. What do you like most about your job? Let's just say it's my job, it's my hobby and vice versa. I do not imagine for myself (at least now) another kind of my activity. Everything is present in the work - a lot of trips, constant communication with people, working with equipment, studying (including abroad). 7. What do you dislike most about your job? As always, there is absolutely not enough space to install all the necessary equipment. It is very difficult to communicate with various controlling organizations that do not understand anything at all. They know the ins and outs of the job, but they try their best to get you to spend money on fulfilling their (often) illegal demands. 8. If it's not a secret, what is your salary level (is it enough to write whether you are satisfied or not)? My salary is average. 9. Describe your team, what kind of people work with you? Accountant and driver, who also helps in other matters. It’s hard without a driver, sometimes you have to solve additional issues on the road. 10. What human qualities do you think are most important in your business? First of all, you need to love your work, find ways to solve problems in the most difficult situations, not give up in difficult times, but more optimism, trust people, desire to learn. 11. Work gives me additional opportunities (everything that work gives you except money, from self-expression and communication with interesting people to the opportunity to visit different countries). I already wrote - a very wide circle of contacts, constant trips, a lot of useful information and material interest. 12. Do you have the opportunity to evaluate your work on a five-point scale, what grade would you give? I can only rate excellent. 13. What do you think we did not include in the plan and what else would you like to share with us? I either added one of the questions, or formulated it differently - “What difficulties do you have in obtaining permits to carry out your work” 0
