What is your job and what are your responsibilities? The casino manager is the person who meets and escorts visitors. A person who is constantly next to (or between) casino employees (croupier, inspector) and players. This is the person who is obliged to monitor the entire process of the game, control and prevent errors from both the players and the dealers. The latter are punished by a certain system of fines. Any recalculation or deficiency by the croupier in any of the parties is considered a serious mistake and leads to a penalty. The manager resolves all disputable and conflict situations in the playing hall, in case of inappropriately behaving people, the manager can prohibit the game (for a given day or forever). The manager is constantly between two fires, but his task is to provide everyone with comfortable conditions: the players for the game, the croupier for work. The manager is the link between the management and his subordinate croupiers. The duties of a casino manager are the same as any other manager: team management, documentation, payroll. 3. What education is required to get your position? Higher education welcome. To become a manager, you need to go through the path, starting with the basics, having worked for a certain time as a croupier. With the necessary personal qualities and a successful combination of circumstances, you can become a manager by undergoing special training, for example, at the International Academy of Tourism for the position of a Manager of a gambling establishment. 4. Describe your working day. The working day can begin with a general construction, where the manager sets tasks for his subordinates. Typically, a work shift lasts 12 hours during the day (or at night). At the end of the day, errors are considered. 5. How comfortable are your working conditions (all day outside, or in the office with a cup of coffee)? If the working day / night is not particularly difficult, then the work is quite comfortable.
