1. What is the name of your profession (position)? My profession is called a phytotherapist. 2. What is your job and what are your responsibilities? I treat people with herbal medicine. In herbal medicine, instead of conventional medicines, phytopreparations are used - medicines based on plants. The composition of such preparations includes medicinal herbs, mushrooms, bee products. My responsibilities include receiving patients and prescribing treatment for them. 3. What education is required to get your position? I am a pharmacist by education. Now I am getting a second higher education with a degree in valeology. Plus, I'm constantly educating myself. The company I work for every year conducts refresher courses, we must pass the exam. 4. Describe your working day. I have my own office at the phytopharmacy, where I see patients. People come to me, talk about their problems, and I prescribe them a treatment based on herbal remedies. My working day is normalized - from 9 am to 5 pm. 5. How comfortable are your working conditions (all day outside, or in the office with a cup of coffee)? My working conditions are quite comfortable - a separate office, my own desk. There is a lunch break. Sometimes, of course, when there are many patients, it is difficult. But mostly moral. 6. What do you like most about your job? I like that I help people. Patients often come to me, whom official medicine could not help. And the herbal treatment helped. But basically, the treatment of a phytotherapeutist complements the traditional one, and does not replace it. The biggest reward for me is the patients I cured. 7. What do you dislike most about your job? I don't like it when I meet people who are contemptuous of herbal medicine, even without really knowing what it is. 8. If it's not a secret, what is your salary level (is it enough to write whether you are satisfied or not)? The level of salary suits me. 9. Describe your team, what kind of people work with you? I work with people who are just as passionate about herbal medicine and dedicated to their work as I am. These are pharmacists who sell drugs, managers, the director of the company. But I don’t communicate with the team very often, because I work in a separate office. 10. What human qualities do you think are most important in your business? The main quality is patience. Patients come with different personalities. You need to have such qualities as empathy, to have a developed intuition. The ability to communicate well with people is very important. 11. Work gives me additional opportunities (everything that work gives you except money, from self-expression and communication with interesting people to the opportunity to visit different countries). Work gives me the opportunity to satisfy my need for knowledge. Because I am constantly learning. It is also important for me to feel needed by people. 12. Do you have the opportunity to evaluate your work on a five-point scale, what grade would you give? I would put "five". 13. Why did you choose this job? I have been fascinated since childhoodherbal medicine, studied the literature on this topic. She even collected medicinal herbs and donated them to pharmacies. So, you can say - this is my calling. 14. What do you think we did not include in the plan and what else would you like to share with us? The plan can include the question - did you dream of becoming what you are now, as a child? My answer is no. I dreamed of being a chemist. But... pharmacy is close to chemistry, I went to study as a pharmacist... But in the end I became a phytotherapeutist, I treat people without using chemicals. 0
