My profession is bank security. | Choice of profession. how to choose the right profession

1. What is the name of your profession (position)? My profession has a name: “inspector of safety and order security” 2. What is your job and what are your responsibilities? I work in a branch of one of the central banks of the capital. My job is to maintain the order of the bank branch, prevent various non-standard situations, and of course protect the bank from potential offenders (robbers, hooligans). 3. What education is required to get your position? In order for you to be hired in such a structure, you need, at a minimum, to complete military service in the ranks of the armed forces. Professional training is welcome (good knowledge of self-defense techniques, knowledge in the field of alarm systems), the presence of a driver's license is also considered a plus. And, of course, ideally, when you have a permit to carry a firearm (or traumatic) weapon. 4. Describe your working day. My working day begins with a shift change - the group that was on duty the day before hand over all the valuables (papers, weapons) to those who accept the shift, then the shift supervisor calls the control panel and reports all the nuances of the shift change (violations, if any), then it happens control of the protected area, monitoring of security cameras and visual inspection of visitors in order to prevent any offenses. 5. How comfortable are your working conditions (all day outside, or in the office with a cup of coffee)? Of course, it is difficult to call my service completely comfortable, there are three of us, we work in the following sequence: 3 hours behind the camera, two hours on the street and two hours of rest, that is, every 5 working hours, two hours of break (for food and sleep). 6. What do you like most about your job? What I like most about this job is the feeling that you are looked upon as a protector, that you are responsible for the health (and maybe even the lives) of the people you protect. 7. What do you dislike most about your job? Well, of course, there are also negative aspects of this work, I am a mobile person and sitting out for three hours watching a security camera is sometimes very difficult for me, and at the end of the shift my head is boiled (from lack of sleep) and you can make some mistake. 8. If it's not a secret, what is your salary level (is it enough to write whether you are satisfied or not)? Regarding the payment for my work, I want to say that everything suits me, of course it would not be bad to add a little more, but ... 9. Describe your team, what kind of people work with you? Our shifts do not coincide with the shifts of operators, and our bosses are trying to make sure that we work with the same partners as rarely as possible, so every shift we have to “join” the team anew, adapt to our partners, which in turn increases communication skills . 10. What human qualities do you think are most important in your business? I believe that in our business one of the main qualities is endurance, visitors are different, but in any situation you must be at the highestfather. 11. Work gives me additional opportunities (everything that work gives you except money, from self-expression and communication with interesting people to the opportunity to visit different countries). I would like to note that thanks to this work, I became more responsible, this work gave me the opportunity to evaluate myself in various non-standard situations. 12. Do you have the opportunity to evaluate your work on a five-point scale, what grade would you give? Evaluating my work on a five-point scale, I would rate it 4. 13. Why did you choose this job? It was my dream to work in law enforcement agencies, but since it is difficult to get a job in the police, I chose a profession a little similar. 14. What do you think we did not include in the plan and what else would you like to share with us? Not a superfluous question about relations with superiors. I would like to say that the quality of work largely depends on relations with superiors, and when choosing a job, you must first get to know your immediate superiors, this will help you decide whether this job suits you or not. 0
