My profession is obstetrician-gynecologist of antenatal clinic | Choice of profession. how to choose the right profession

1. What is the name of your profession (position)? Obstetrician-gynecologist of female consultation. 2. What is your job and what are your responsibilities? I am an appointment in the gynecology department of the student polyclinic. I conduct a preventive gynecological examination of first-year students, promote and prevent a healthy lifestyle, namely protected sexual contact, establish tactics for managing patients and pregnant women, prescribe the necessary examinations and subsequent treatment if necessary. 3. What education is required to get your position? You need to have a higher medical education. I graduated from the State Medical Academy, and also underwent postgraduate training in the specialty “Obstetrics and Gynecology”. 4. Describe your working day. On odd days (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) I work from morning to lunch, from 8:00 to 15:00, and on even days (Tuesday, Thursday) from lunch to evening, from 11:00 to 18:00. Before the start of the reception at the registry office, I take the “day”, i.e. sheet with patients recorded by the appointed time. Then the direct reception of patients begins in the office. If there is a long queue or a day of preventive examination, then there is not enough time to leave even for a second. There are times when there are few patients, but this is such a rarity, unfortunately. Then you can go to drink tea in the room for the medical staff. Also, several times a day I take the collected materials for analysis in the laboratory, and I take the finished results and paste them into cards. Sometimes a nurse helps with this. 5. How comfortable are your working conditions (all day outside, or in the office with a cup of coffee)? Complaining about working conditions is difficult. The polyclinic has recently undergone a major overhaul, all the equipment is new, everything is very modern. It is beautiful and convenient here not only for patients, but also for doctors and auxiliary medical personnel. 6. What do you like most about your job? My vocation is to help women to be healthy, which means self-confident, attractive. This is no less important than visiting a beauty salon! I like that my patients are grateful for my help. 7. What do you dislike most about your job? See pain and suffering. But doctors are there to deal with it. 8. If it's not a secret, what is your salary level (is it enough to write whether you are satisfied or not)? It could have been more... But I'm quite satisfied. 9. Describe your team, what kind of people work with you? Different. You can't please everyone. Someone is rude to patients, someone is too "lisping", someone is always dissatisfied with everyone around. But together we try to be a team of professionals. Management often arranges meetings and meetings, tries to listen to the opinion of everyone. But you yourself know that it is not possible to satisfy the needs of everyone. We get along with everyone. 10. What human qualities do you think are most important in your business? Responsibility, professionalism, loyalty, endurance, empathy, resistance to stress, etc. 11. Workgives me additional opportunities (here everything that gives you a job except money, from self-expression and communication with interesting people to the opportunity to visit different countries). Difficult question. It probably makes it possible, when faced with a difficult case, to get together and concentrate, throw strength into solving a complex problem, a patient's health problem. Something of a self-affirmation. 12. Do you have the opportunity to evaluate your work on a five-point scale, what grade would you give? 5 13. Why did you choose this job? Since childhood, she dreamed of becoming a doctor. 14. What do you think we did not include in the plan and what else would you like to share with us? If only to share optimism with everyone, then with pleasure! 0
