Occupation master cross stitch | Choice of profession. how to choose the right profession

1. What is the name of your profession (position)? My profession is creative, so you can say that I am a kind of artist, but probably the easiest thing is a Cross Stitch Master. 2. What is your job and what are your responsibilities? I embroider any pictures according to the schemes, as well as images on pillows and blankets. 3. What education is required to get your position? Education is not required for this, it requires great patience and desire. 4. Describe your working day. Every day, about 7 hours with breaks of 10-15 minutes every hour, since my eyes get very tired, I make a cross after a cross. About two hundred of them come out in one day, provided that each stitch is done carefully. Why so long and so little? Because the thread of the same color can be scattered over different areas of embroidery, and in order not to make a mistake, you need an accurate miscalculation of the next cross. 5. How comfortable are your working conditions (all day outside, or in the office with a cup of coffee)? My work takes place at home, which is very convenient if you are on maternity leave or cannot find a permanent job, or for any other reason. The convenience is that you can take a break at any time. You plan your own time. 6. What do you like most about your job? First, I love the result! This is a very exciting activity, especially for those who love needlework and love crafting with their own hands. And of course, the most important thing is the result. I get great pleasure from contemplating the finished work. 7. What do you dislike most about your job? Probably the main disadvantage is the health factor. All day with a tense back, although I work with a fastening machine, my back still tenses up and in the evening I may be tired. And of course, eye fatigue. Constant concentration on the stitches, a tense look make themselves felt. 8. If it's not a secret, what is your salary level (is it enough to write whether you are satisfied or not)? For life, it is not something that is not enough, but catastrophically not enough. It's more like a pleasure with a little side work on pleasant things. 9. Describe your team, what kind of people work with you? Since I work from home, there is always only one true friend with me - my dog. Lies, sighs and looks at my work. 10. What human qualities do you think are most important in your business? First of all, a person must love what he does, otherwise nothing will work out. As I said, patience is the main aspect in this case, because sitting still for several hours in a row is a huge test. And if you take into account, then on the canvas there are only incomprehensible multi-colored spots of the future drawing, which will not soon become outlines, then it is very difficult morally when you do not see the result of work in a day. But for those who have made at least one picture, this is not a problem, because they are already prepared in advance and are satisfied with the day's result. 11. Work gives me additional opportunities (here everything that gives you a slaveother than money, from self-expression and communication with interesting people to the opportunity to visit different countries). I communicate with other masters, visit exhibitions, where there are many amazing works. By attending such events, you are spiritually enriched. Handmade is always warmth, comfort and an unprecedented sense of novelty. What if it's also made by hand? 12. Do you have the opportunity to evaluate your work on a five-point scale, what grade would you give? Definitely 5 13. Why did you choose this job? I have a small child, I can’t go to work, because he is still small and I want to spend as much time as possible with him. For self-expression, I decided to do something of my own, and since this is work at home, I have enough time for both her and the baby. And I can always take my work with me wherever I go. 14. What do you think we did not include in the plan and what else would you like to share with us? It seems to me interesting would be the question of the vision of the future in his career, that is, what does a person expect and who does he want to become, how to grow further?
