In order to become a traumatologist-orthopedist, it is necessary to study at a medical institute (6 years) at the faculty of "General Medicine" with a degree in "Traumatologist-orthopedist". After completing the internship (1 year). 4. Describe your working day. My working day begins at 8.00 with a “five-minute” session, after which I go around the patients. From 10 o'clock we carry out operations, until approximately 14 o'clock. I prescribe a treatment and examination plan. I complete the paperwork. 5. How comfortable are your working conditions (all day outside, or in the office with a cup of coffee)? The specialty of a traumatologist, like other doctors performing operations, cannot be called comfortable. From morning to evening, all in work, sit down and relax calmly, it’s impossible to eat. 6. What do you like most about your job? I can say with confidence that I don’t just like my profession - I love it! Helping people is the dream of my life. To see the joyful faces of the patients you were able to help. 7. What do you dislike most about your job? I repeat, work as a traumatologist is my everything! I give myself completely to this work. Having chosen this specialty, I have never regretted it. 8. If it's not a secret, what is your salary level (is it enough to write whether you are satisfied or not)? The level of salary at the moment I'm quite satisfied. In addition, programs are now being carried out to increase earnings in the field of medicine. 9. Describe your team, what kind of people work with you? There are no identical people - each has its own character, its own moral values. The ability to find a common language with any person is an important side of character. Our team is friendly and fun, you can say we are like a family. We have specialists of different ages - from young to experienced, seasoned doctors. The young respect the elder... I myself, once was a newcomer, and I was accepted into this team, as they say, "with bread and salt." Thank them for this. In our free time, we get together and have a great time. 10. What human qualities, in your opinion, are most important in your business? The profession of a doctor is one of the most responsible and serious, because the patient's life directly depends on us. The traumatologist must be attentive, focused, completely devoted to his work. Kindness is an important quality of any doctor. The patient, first of all, needs support. The profession is difficult... You need to be balanced and somewhere even cold-blooded. 11. Work gives me additional opportunities (here is everything that work gives you except money, from self-expression and communication with interesting people to the opportunity to visit different countries). My work gives me a boost of positive energy, seeing the happy faces of my patients whom I have helped. I have a lotmy acquaintances, friends of doctors of various specialties, to whom I can turn when there are health problems for me and my loved ones. 12. What can we say specifically about the specialty of a traumatologist - this is also an indispensable specialist: how many accidents, accidents occur .... With problems of the musculoskeletal system, they first turn to a traumatologist (from fractures, sprains, dislocations to operations to restore damaged areas, insert implants into joints, etc.). 13. Why did you choose this job? I am a man, and therefore I chose a truly masculine specialty as a traumatologist-surgeon. This area is comparable to working in a factory. More than others, this specialty attracts me. The choice was also influenced by a case from my life. I got a sports knee injury around the age of 15, I had two surgeries. I studied a lot of literature about the knee joint, I was interested.…. I decided to go to work as a doctor even before that, but after what happened, I decided in which area I want to become a specialist. That's how it all started... 14. What are the opportunities for your career development? There is a possibility of career growth. Write doctoral dissertations. Career growth comes with an increase in experience, honing skills.
