1. What is the name of your profession (position)? My position is the senior inspector of the internal control of the hotel. 2. What is your job and what are your responsibilities? I supervise the activities of the hotel staff, maintain public order and fire safety on the territory of the hotel complex. Responsibilities include: access control to the territory of the hotel, tracking, using video surveillance, possible offenses, both on the part of staff and visitors, checking fire safety, as well as managing employees of their own service. 3. What education is required to get your position? As a rule, higher education in this profession is not required, at least the presence of a completed secondary education is desirable. But university students are also welcome! 4. Describe your working day. My working day begins with accepting the post, checking the necessary documentation, receiving all the information for the past day. My work is daily, that is, 24 hours in full combat readiness. After the completion of the described actions, the morning security check of the personnel begins. After that, video surveillance of the staff and visitors of the hotel is carried out throughout the hotel complex, this is in conjunction with the management of employees of their own service. In the event of various conflict situations, they are quickly eliminated. In this mode, I work until the evening, that is, until the evening check of the staff to detect inventory items prohibited for removal from the hotel. The night period of working time passes more calmly, but it is extremely stressful, in view of the time of day. The working day ends in the morning with the surrender of duty and the provision of all information for the past day. 5. How comfortable are your working conditions (all day outside, or in the office with a cup of coffee)? Working conditions are comfortable. A separate room with air conditioning (which saves a lot on summer days), all the necessary materials, comfortable furniture. You can even sit with a cup of coffee while you work. 6. What do you like most about your job? In this case, I like the responsibility offered, increasing the level of knowledge in the field of fire safety, working with video materials, as well as increasing stress resistance, which is very important in this profession. 7. What do you dislike most about your job? Inconsistency in the level of professional duties and wages. As a rule, the duties are twice as large. And a certain harm brought to the body due to daily work. 8. Describe your team, what kind of people work with you? The service team is good. It's nice to work with people who do not attach importance to the position itself, whether they are higher or lower.
