Profession trainer, riding instructor | Choice of profession. how to choose the right profession

1. What is the name of your profession (position)? The trainer is a riding instructor. 2. What is your job and what are your responsibilities? I have a fairly wide range of responsibilities. I work with students, feed the horses, take care of them, make a training schedule. In fact, when working with children and animals, it is extremely difficult to clearly outline your responsibilities. It’s like this at the stable: where you are needed at the moment, there are your duties. When an animal is sick and you have to spend the night near it, there is no time for labor codes and job descriptions, and unforeseen situations happen almost every day. 3. What education is required to get your position? I am an architect by education, but about twelve years ago I got sick with horses, and away we go. Of course, I have certificates from various courses, but in our business you get all the knowledge through experience. But, in general, sometimes it seems to me that in our country a person works for anyone, but not for those whom he studied for. 4. Describe your working day. I get up very early, I go to the stable. There I feed and sing the horses, I give the task to clean the stalls (often I clean it myself), then training, training, we feed the horses again, at 5-6 o'clock and go home, if it's not your turn to be on duty. On weekends, we ride kids in the parks of the city. I don’t like it, as, by the way, and horses, but this is earnings, and not bad, and the maintenance of the stable costs money. 5. How comfortable are your working conditions (all day outside, or in the office with a cup of coffee)? We don't have much comfort - working with animals. That says it all 6. What do you like most about your job? I love horses very much. I would even do it for free. There is something magical in the look of these animals. And I also like to sit while on duty and watch for a long time how the horses, snoring, sleep 7. What do you dislike most about your job? When horses get sick, it's scary. Well, of course, I don’t like to fall, but it’s not so scary. 8. If it's not a secret, what is your salary level (is it enough to write whether you are satisfied or not)? Quite. Not complaining. 9. Describe your team, what kind of people work with you? All, as one, obsessed with horses. We, like among emergency doctors, do not have random people. 10. What human qualities do you think are most important in your business? Love for animals, willingness to drop everything and come to the stable at any time, fanaticism and, of course, the ability to feed sugar from the palm of your hand :). 11. Work gives me additional opportunities (everything that work gives you except money, from self-expression and communication with interesting people to the opportunity to visit different countries). Work allows me to find harmony with myself and the world around me. Few? 12. Do you have the opportunity to evaluate your work on a five-point scale, what grade would you give? And why on a five-point scale? Probably four. Never thought about it. Let others judge. 13. Why did you choose this job? The calling is mine. She chose me, not me. 14. What do you think we did not include in the plan and what else would you likewant to share with us? No, everything is fine :)
