My profession is a corporate trainer | Choice of profession. how to choose the right profession

1. What is the name of your profession (position)? I am a corporate trainer. 2. What is your job and what are your responsibilities? I train staff. Basically, I try to use interactive (training) methods. This is when everyone sits in a circle, and training is carried out in a free form. Free form for the participants, and of course the coach has everything planned out. And outwardly it seems that the lesson goes on by itself, although in fact the coach always looks at his watch and at his lesson plan. 3. What education is required to get your position? I am a psychologist by education, but in order to work as a coach, this is not enough. I had to master economic disciplines on my own, go through many trainings myself. 4. Describe your working day. Typically, a training specialist spends a lot of time planning training. In order for the classes to be comfortable for the participants, it is necessary to take into account all the nuances. You have to deal with the preparation of the premises, replication of handouts. The lesson itself usually takes place in one breath (no matter how long it lasts). When a trainer works for a large company, a lot of time is spent reporting on the training and justifying the need for it. But the most pleasant thing in work is when the participants, who were expecting a boring lecture, leave the training charged, smiling and rested. 5. How comfortable are your working conditions (all day outside, or in the office with a cup of coffee)? The work is mobile, you have to communicate with landlords, training often takes place on the road. But in the office, too much time is spent on routine duties. Work comfortably if people need your work. 6. What do you like most about your job? The most pleasant thing in work is when the participants, who were expecting a boring lecture, come out of the training charged, smiling and rested. 7. What do you dislike most about your job? I don't like it when people don't want to go to school. Usually the attitude changes after the first block of the session, but beginners have very sour facial expressions at the beginning. 8. If it's not a secret, what is your salary level (is it enough to write whether you are satisfied or not)? The work of a training specialist is well paid, but there are no fixed numbers. As you agree, so be it. Accordingly, the more experience a coach has, the more famous he is, the more he earns. Often, coaches have the opportunity to earn extra money in the field of recruitment. 9. Describe your team, what kind of people work with you? Usually the person who chooses the specialty of a coach works alone. Sometimes in pairs. However, all coaches are creative people, and everyone pulls the blanket over himself. A trainer who works with many companies has an excellent opportunity to communicate with many leaders and make many useful connections. 10. What human qualities do you think are most important in your business? The main thing for a coach is to be able to communicate with people, feel them, adapt and adjust. 11. Work gives me additional opportunities (here SunWhat does work give you besides money, from self-expression and communication with interesting people to the opportunity to visit different countries). The work gives me additional opportunities: I am constantly improving and I have to take regular training courses myself. This does not allow to stop in development. 12. Do you have the opportunity to evaluate your work on a five-point scale, what grade would you give? Solid 7.5 points. This means - "five" and another half. The work is very interesting! 13. Why did you choose this job? Both my grandmothers are teachers. And my grandfather is a teacher. Teaching people is a family tradition, one might say. However, I wanted to work in the business field. Working as a trainer allowed me to combine both business and education. 14. What do you think we did not include in the plan and what else would you like to share with us? It is important to note that anyone can become a coach. The education of a psychologist is not mandatory (but remains desirable). If a person has charisma, deep knowledge in any field, he can always share his experience with colleagues and conduct trainings.
