Regional manager, specialist in the sale of equipment and spare parts - my profession | Choice of profession. how to choose the right profession

1. What is the name of your profession (position)? My profession is called "specialist in sales of equipment and spare parts", it's even a profession, but a position. 2. What is your job and what are your responsibilities? The work consists in finding clients, negotiating with them, concluding agreements with them, supporting transactions with clients. 3. What education is required to get your position? I have an incomplete higher education, but work is not in my specialty. To get a job like mine, the most important thing is the personal experience of active sales. By itself, the factor of education does not play a decisive role in employment. 4. Describe your working day. I am a regional representative of a Moscow company and I work in the “home office” mode. My working day starts at 9.30 am Moscow time with planning goals and tasks for the day. I find clients on the Internet, in various directories, from advertisements of their activities, etc., then I call them, introduce myself, tell them about our company, find out their needs and offer cooperation. I also arrange personal meetings, go to clients at a convenient time for them and negotiate. Theoretically, I work until 17.30, but I must be available on the phone at any time. 5. How comfortable are your working conditions (all day outside, or in the office with a cup of coffee)? The working conditions are very comfortable, because most of the time I spend at home, you can always drink tea or coffee, have a smoke break, do some household chores along the way. 6. What do you like most about your job? What I like the most about my job is that you plan your working day and tasks for yourself. Everything you need to work is at hand: a computer with unlimited internet, a telephone, a printer. 7. What do you dislike most about your job? You don’t like the fact that you are still at home, sometimes you don’t feel like working and you can afford to relax, watch TV, for example, and this relaxation can negatively affect the results of work and, accordingly, wages. 8. If it's not a secret, what is your salary level (is it enough to write whether you are satisfied or not)? The salary suits me quite well, and for 100% fulfillment of the plan, bonuses are also good. 9. Describe your team, what kind of people work with you? Since I am a regional representative and I am the only representative of the organization in my region, there are no colleagues at work next to me. And those who are in Moscow are very good colleagues, always ready to help on any issue. 10. What human qualities do you think are most important in your business? In a job like mine, the main thing is self-organization and self-discipline, because the authorities are not around, no one is standing over their souls, and if they call from Moscow, then on the phone you can always pretend that you are working, they don’t see. 11. Work gives me additional opportunities (here everything that gives you work except money, from self-expression and communication with interesting people to the opportunity to visit various countriesanakh). From work, I get communication with literate people that is useful for development. Since I sell large road-building equipment that costs millions of rubles, I communicate accordingly at the level of general directors and chief mechanics, and these are very useful contacts that can be very useful in the future, plus a good salary and a lot of free time for personal affairs. 12. Do you have the opportunity to evaluate your work on a five-point scale, what grade would you give? My work is 5+. Interesting with interesting people. 13. What do you think we did not include in the plan and what else would you like to share with us? In my opinion, all the previous points are enough to describe the work. 0
