Profession Marketing manager, head of marketing department | Choice of profession. how to choose the right profession

1. What is the name of your profession (position)? I am a marketer by profession, and the position sounds like the head of the marketing and foreign economic relations department. 2. What is your job and what are your responsibilities? Direct management of the department, budgeting, market analysis, search for tenders and work with them. 3. What education is required to get your position? Without a diploma of higher education, the best economics would hardly have accepted anyone. So I have a higher economics degree in Marketing + additional education, for example, I received diplomas from the Dutch School of Marketing. 4. Describe your working day. To get to work on time, I get up at six thirty in the morning. Of course, we don’t have Moscow in terms of distances and traffic jams, but still. Yes, and the company is on the other side of the city. My working days are pretty monotonous. From 8 to 17-30 I sit at the computer. Sometimes you have to delay. On Fridays, a shortened day - until 16-30. five days, respectively. But there are rumors that after the new year, due to the crisis, they can shorten the working week :((( 5. How comfortable are your working conditions (all day on the street, or in the office with a cup of coffee)? All day in the office with numerous cups of coffee. True, you have to buy water for coffee and bring it yourself, because no one dares to draw from the tap. The windows in the office are plastic, there is no air conditioning. Neither cold nor hot. There is a dining room in the building. So-so, to be honest. 6. What do you like most about my job? The fact that I still work in my specialty. Whom I studied for, that's what I work. I revel in my little power!!! :))) Relative freedom in actions and in decision-making. They also like that it is a fairly large enterprise at the federal level. There is an opportunity to cooperate with foreigners. 7. What do you dislike most about your job? Analytics, numbers, numbers, numbers…. lots of numbers! The administrative apparatus is too big in my opinion. The corporate culture is not developed. The work is located far from home, every day you have to take a car. Of course, there is an alternative - traveling by tram, but getting up even earlier for this and freezing in winter and sweating in summer at stops ... no! 8. If it's not a secret, what is your salary level (is it enough to write whether you are satisfied or not)? Not satisfied. In my opinion, they could have paid more for this hellish work. 9. Describe your team, what kind of people work with you? I am almost the youngest employee. Therefore, I am surrounded by old, hardworking, incapable of self-organization employees. Some will retire soon, while others are likely to be made redundant. And so those who feel the coming contraction look at me with wolf eyes and quietly plot. 10. What human qualities do you think are most important in your business? Sociability, the ability to quickly establish and maintain the necessary business connections and analytical thinking for a long time. Also, you can not do without perseverance and stress resistance. 11. Work gives me additionalpositive opportunities (everything that gives you a job except money, from self-expression and communication with interesting people to the opportunity to visit different countries). My work allows me to spend a lot of time on the Internet, communicate with people a lot, though mostly by phone, and also travel around the country on business trips to participate in exhibitions. 12. Do you have the opportunity to evaluate your work on a five-point scale, what grade would you give? For a solid four. 13. Why did you choose this job? What was and chose. Before that, I generally had to travel to another city for 230 km on a 3/4 schedule. True, with payment for accommodation, fuel and lubricants ... And the salary is the same. So I wanted to be closer to home, to my family. 14. What do you think we did not include in the plan and what else would you like to share with us? It would not hurt to characterize the field of activity. I work in a large manufacturing plant in the chemical industry. 0
