Profession teacher of the Center for Children's Creativity | Choice of profession. how to choose the right profession

1. What is the name of your profession (position)? I work in a small town as a teacher at the Center for Children's Art. 2. What is your job and what are your responsibilities? We conduct lessons for children of primary school age: we teach them to draw, sing, dance, we lead a theater group. Personally, I am responsible for organizing and holding children's holidays and performances. To do this, sometimes you have to learn professions that are completely uncharacteristic, for example, to master the profession of a seamstress, when you need to prepare costumes for children, a dresser to take care of them. Not to mention the need for design skills))) 3. What kind of education is needed to get your position? The presence of pedagogical education, of course, is welcome, but not required. They were hired based on the results of psychological tests. I liked working, so now I'm nibbling on the granite of science at a pedagogical university. 4. Describe your working day. Classes at the Center start at 11 o'clock. Work ends at about 6 o'clock (this is if there are no performances). If something is planned, of course, we stay while our children perform, then we discuss their “creative” plans for children for a long time. During the day I lead groups: I read fairy tales and scripts to children, we choose what to stage next time, we learn roles, we design costumes. 5. How comfortable are your working conditions (all day on the street, or in the office with a cup of coffee). We conduct classes in a separate building with quite a decent repair, in warmth and comfort, so there is no need to complain about working conditions either. 6. What do you like most about your job? I like working here. Of course, I don’t really have anything to compare with (this is my 1st job), but on part-time jobs, in my student years, it wasn’t even 20% so good at heart. 7. What do you dislike most about your job? The only problem is the ambitions of some parents who want to make a star out of their child and are trying in every possible way to impose their opinion on us. But for us, all pupils are equal. There was not a single child who could not open up while studying with us. I don’t want to spoil the impression, but this work is not for the faint of heart, because it is necessary to find an approach to everyone, to interest them so that the child comes to the next lesson with joy and pleasure. But, God, how many tears have to be wiped away during the distribution of roles. Try to explain to the child why he should play the Tree and not the Prince! 8. If it's not a secret, what is your salary level (is it enough to write whether you are satisfied or not)? The salary, of course, is not very good, but enough for a modest life! 9. Describe your team, what kind of people work with you? The team is just amazing. All with their creative "cockroaches", but this does not spoil the relationship between us. 10. What human qualities, in your opinion, are most important in your business? First, love for children! Without this, we have nothing! 11. Work gives me additional opportunities (here everything that work gives you except money, from self-expression and communicationwith interesting people to the opportunity to visit different countries). A very convenient work schedule, which allows you to simultaneously study at the institute, get 2 higher degrees. 12. Do you have the opportunity to evaluate your work on a five-point scale, what grade would you give? In general, such work is a real pleasure! I think the communication skills and "entertainment" of children will come in handy in the future, with their own children. In short - 5 points! 13. Why did you choose this job? I love children. It was possible to go to kindergarten as a teacher, but here I can also realize some creative abilities. 14. What do you think we did not include in the plan and what else would you like to share with us? Perhaps it is worth adding some curious cases that occurred during work. I just have something to say! 0
