Head of planning and placement of promotional materials on a television channel. | Choice of profession. how to choose the right profession

1. What is the name of your profession (position)? My position is called the head of the planning and placement of promotional materials on a television channel. 2. What is your job and what are your responsibilities? The job is to correctly calculate the required number of announcements for the week, give the order to the channel's promotional department so that they make the material on time, and then properly plan and monitor the placement of the material on the air. The arrangement itself is handled by another person. I just give the media plan and control its execution. 3. What education is required to get your position? Education on TV is a very interesting issue. I have an education in marketing, my diploma was written on the topic of optimizing the process of advertising on television. Thanks to the diploma, I got on the TV channel, and then - just the accumulated experience and good knowledge of mathematics, an analytical mindset, and hard work. 4. Describe your working day. Since my work on television is an irregular working day. This means that there is a clear start time of the day (10 am), and the end is not earlier than 7 pm, but the maximum bar is when we do everything. If we talk about the beginning of the week, then I leave at 7, if Thursday - Friday, then I can leave at 9, 10 pm. If necessary, they are called to work at 5 am (before the start of the broadcast day) and on weekends (if some kind of failure has occurred). 5. How comfortable are your working conditions (all day outside, or in the office with a cup of coffee)? The working conditions are wonderful. Almost all the time in the office, under air conditioning, with a coffee maker and delicious coffee. With a special pavilion for smoke breaks and a wonderful team. 6. What do you like most about your job? What I like the most is that a lot depends on me. If I plan correctly and the indicators will grow, then there will be pride in myself that I was able to defeat all other channels. It is also interesting that all the time you need to invent, invent, calculate something, the work is not monotonous. 7. What do you dislike most about your job? I do not like the lack of free time, and dependence - if, for example, summer, then no matter what you do, the indicators will not grow anyway. "TV viewing" falls in principle. And dependence on the human factor - a person fell ill, the material was not handed over on time, everything needs to be completely redone. 8. If it's not a secret, what is your salary level (is it enough to write whether you are satisfied or not)? Salary…. There is not much money. The salary is average for Kyiv, but my husband and I have enough to feed the car, rent an apartment, get dressed, eat and take a walk. But of course I would like more. 9. Describe your team, what kind of people work with you? I work with purposeful people who understand exactly what is required of them. All people are creative, and it is interesting to talk with them over a cup of coffee during a break. 10. What human qualities do you think are most important in your business? The most important thing in my work is the ability not tocut your hands if something doesn't work out. Indicators are a very independent and complex thing, and we do not always get the result we expected. And the analytical mindset and scrupulousness in work are also very important. 11. Work gives me additional opportunities (here is everything that work gives you except money, from self-expression and communication with interesting people to the opportunity to visit different countries). In addition to the financial side, the work is pleasant in that there is an opportunity to meet a very large number of people. I know almost all the news that happens in the country, and the pass of a TV channel employee opens many doors. And the sign on the windshield of the car "TV Tower" makes the traffic police think before stopping my car. 12. Do you have the opportunity to evaluate your work on a five-point scale, what grade would you give? Of course, 5. the work is interesting, with great prospects. 13. Why did you choose this job? To be honest, it happened by accident. I wanted to change my previous job (she worked on the same TV channel, but in the advertising department), came to the manager, he offered to try. I tried. 14. What do you think we did not include in the plan and what else would you like to share with us? It seems to me that there is not enough point - What would you like to change in your work? I would like to change the fact that there is a very high dependence on the human factor and on what an employee of another department does, and until he does this, I cannot work. I would like my employees to do these things, then they could be influenced. 0
